The Strengths and Difficulties Questionnaire asks the parent/carer to rate 25 items assessing Emotional Symptoms, Conduct Problems, Hyperactivity / Inattention, Peer Relationship Problems and Prosocial Behaviour based on their child’s behaviour in the last six months. The first four subscales are summed to provide a total difficulties score. Total internalising and externalising scores are also derived.
